Overview
Seoul National University (SNU) is a national university located in the Gwanak District of Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded universities in the country, and is consistently ranked as one of the top universities in Asia and the world.
The university was founded in 1946 with a mission to promote the development of higher education in Korea, and has since become a leading center for education, research, and innovation. SNU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of study, including liberal arts, natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, law, medicine, and more. Currently there are more than 2,000 students and visiting scholars from over 50 countries on campus. Over 800 classes at SNU are taught in English.
