Smilegate has unveiled a new trailer for ‘Lost Ark’ Season 3. The trailer reveals new information that wasn’t shown at the LOA ON SUMMER event, sparking excitement among players who are finding it hard to wait.
On the 5th, Smilegate uploaded the official trailer for Lost Ark Season 3 ‘The One Facing the End of the Abyss.’ The video includes elements such as the new Hyper Awakening, Ark Passives, Kazeros Raid, and the main storyline.
Firstly, part of the second Hyper Awakening, which was not revealed at LOA ON SUMMER, has been unveiled. The showcased classes include Demonic, Reaper, Gunslinger, and Devil Hunter, each with enhanced forms of their basic awakening skills. The Reaper’s new Hyper Awakening skill resembles the previously revealed one, featuring a red moon in the ‘Eclipse: Cadenza’ area attack.
The combat scenes utilizing Ark Passives are also impressive. Blaster is shown using a bombardment mode while teleporting to another location. Warlord, as partially shown in LOA ON SUMMER, has its evasive skill changed to a forward movement form.
Endgame content in the form of a single-player mode also appeared. Players will engage in 1-on-1 battles with bosses, with NPCs appearing to assist in countering major patterns. In the video, the fourth gate of the Abrelshud raid shows effects on the Abrelshud clones regardless of internal or external players, facilitating the gimmick.
For the third gate of Kayangel, Lauriel, NPCs appear during the 120-line pattern. Normally, each party member must adjust their position to maintain a connection of light. In single-player mode, three NPCs perform the gimmick from fixed positions, and the player needs to aim the final light at Lauriel.
Additionally, patterns of the first boss of the Kazeros Raid, Illiakan, were revealed. In the first gate, players will fight Illiakan wielding both his scythe and Valtan’s weapon. Throughout the battle, ghostly Valtan appears as a counter gimmick, with patterns similar to Illiakan’s second gate at 0 lines.
Various story hints were also dropped. As Kazeros’s resurrection approaches its final stage, many characters will make appearances. This includes not only the Allied Forces but also characters like Ronawn, Len, and Jin Madnick, who have journeyed with the players.

In the latter part of the video, Kazeros appears, saying, “I found you, heir of the Ark,” while destroying Mount Antares. Although only a silhouette is shown, progressing through the main storyline will likely reveal more of Kazeros’s appearance.
Carmine is also featured. Carmine, overlooking the battlefield, says, “Can you hear it? The wail of the Abyss Lord facing death.” Here, the Abyss Lord referred to by Carmine is Kazeros.
From the LOA ON SUMMER-revealed trailer of northern Kurzan, Aman’s line, “We must not stop Kazeros’s resurrection. Instead, we must ensure it,” is heard. This suggests that Aman and Carmine plan not to prevent Kazeros’s resurrection but rather to ensure it to defeat him.
Meanwhile, Lost Ark will launch Season 3 on July 10th. In Season 3, the maximum character level will be expanded, and a new growth system called ‘Ark Passives’ will be added, along with higher-tier equipment, allowing for further growth.
