[GAMETOC] Recruitment for ‘The Finals Korea Open Season 3’ Participants

Participants for the ‘July Championship Showdown’ can register until July 17th, with the preliminary rounds starting on July 21st. On July 28th, the top four teams from the preliminaries will compete in the semifinals and finals. These matches will be broadcast live online on ‘The Finals’ official YouTube channel and the ‘WDG’ YouTube channel.

The ‘August Championship Showdown’ will follow the same format. The ‘Season 3 Championship Finals,’ held on September 22nd, will take place at the WDG Esports Arena in Chungmuro, Seoul.

The winner of each ‘Championship Showdown’ will receive 5 million KRW, and the runner-up will receive 1 million KRW. The ‘Season 3 Championship’ in September will feature the top six teams from each showdown competing for a total prize pool of 15 million KRW. All participants in the ‘Championship Showdown’ will receive up to 30,000 Nexon Cash, and there will be a draw for ‘The Finals’ key rings.

To commemorate the launch of ‘The Finals’ esports tournament, Nexon will also host the ‘AF OPEN Invitational,’ a special event with a total prize pool of 30 million KRW, featuring former pro gamers and shooting game influencers. Starting on July 13th, 20 influencers will go through preliminaries and finals, with the final match taking place on July 19th. All matches can be viewed on AfreecaTV’s official channel.
