Additional students to be selected for vacancies from the 1st round of recruitment in 9 departments until August 19
Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (President: Ji-Ho Jang) will conduct the 2nd round of recruitment for new and transfer students for the second semester of 2024 from Wednesday, July 31 to Monday, August 19.
Renowned as the only “foreign language-specialized” cyber university in Korea, Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is a higher education institution where students can earn a regular four-year bachelor’s degree equivalent to that of a traditional university through 100% online academic programs, including lectures and exams. The departments participating in the 2nd round of recruitment for the second semester of 2024 at Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies include: △Department of English △Department of Chinese △Department of Japanese △Department of Korean △Department of Spanish △Department of Vietnamese and Indonesian Studies △Department of Industrial Safety and Housing Management △Department of Multicultural and Psychological Counseling △Department of K-Beauty, totaling 9 departments. Students will be selected for vacancies from the 1st round of recruitment in regular admissions for freshmen and transfer students (2nd and 3rd-year), as well as in special admissions for industry consignment, military consignment, academic transfers, recipients of basic living support, those in lower-income brackets, North Korean defectors and foreigners, students who completed all educational courses abroad from elementary to high school, special education students, and rural students.
Anyone who has graduated from a high school in Korea or abroad or has an equivalent or higher academic qualification can apply for admission. Those who meet the qualifications for each academic year (2nd or 3rd year) may apply for transfer admission if they have graduated (or are expected to graduate) from a junior college in Korea or abroad.
To apply for admission, applicants must complete and submit an online application form through the Admission Center website (https://go.cufs.ac.kr) via PC or mobile within the recruitment period, pay the application fee, write a self-introduction, take the academic aptitude test, and then submit the required documents online or via registered mail. The admission evaluation criteria include 70 points for the self-introduction and 30 points for the academic aptitude test. Successful candidates will be selected based on the total score of these two criteria.
