[GAMETOC] Challenge the ‘Ultimate Bunny’ even without spending money in First Descendant

As the alpha and omega of The First Descendant, it boasts a high production difficulty.

If you were to name the most popular successor in Nexon’s new looter shooter ‘The First Descendant’, it would undoubtedly be ‘Ultimate Bunny’.

Ultimate Bunny has captured the attention of numerous gamers worldwide, including in Korea, with its beautiful appearance and physique even before the launch. Many game influencers, as well as regular users, have purchased Ultimate Bunny when starting The First Descendant.

There are two ways to obtain Ultimate Bunny. You can either purchase a bundle from the store or craft it in the game by gathering materials, which is more challenging. The bundle costs 3,000 Caliber (approximately 60,600 KRW) or 5,000 Caliber (approximately 95,480 KRW).

To craft Ultimate Bunny, you need intermediate materials like Enhanced Cells, Shape Stabilizers, Spiral Catalyst, and Code. Each material requires combining blueprints with specific resources.

The key material, blueprints, can be obtained from Intercept and Void Fusion Reactor content. Both methods have low drop rates, but farming the Void Fusion Reactor repeatedly feels faster and easier than Intercept missions.

Before attempting to craft Ultimate Bunny, you need to prepare certain leveled-up successors: ‘Sharen’ and ‘Enzo’. Sharen’s stealth is essential for infiltration missions, and Enzo significantly increases the success rate of decrypting the Encrypted Vault for obtaining Pure Energy Residue.

If your characters and weapons are well-leveled, you can attempt this solo, but it’s recommended to recruit party members to reduce time and effort.

Creating an Ultimate Successor through crafting requires immense time and effort. The low drop rates of blueprints and Pure Energy Residue make the crafting process quite stressful.

The writer also attempted to craft Ultimate Bunny at the launch of The First Descendant with seven friends, but only one continued the challenge, while the other six gave up and purchased it from the store.

However, various new Ultimate Successors are expected to be released in upcoming updates. On August 1st, ‘Ultimate Velby’ will be introduced. Purchasing all Ultimate Successors with real money would be quite costly.

Therefore, even if it’s not for Ultimate Bunny, crafting at least one Ultimate Successor with accumulated resources in your inventory can save money and serve as a driving force to enjoy The First Descendant for a longer time.

■ Recommended Void Fusion Reactor Strategy Routes

※ Important Notes:

: It is recommended to recruit party members for this.

: You must use Sharen for successful infiltration missions to obtain all Irregular Material Patterns except Pattern 082.

: The process involves Sharen infiltrating to disable the four power devices, after which the rest of the party attacks. Party members should wait at a certain distance to avoid detection.

: The respawn time after clearing a strategic outpost is 5 minutes. If you move to another area and return, the instance channel will change, allowing you to proceed without waiting 5 minutes.

: The pillars appearing during Void Fragment farming can only be damaged with specific attribute skills. Therefore, using successors with matching attributes is crucial.

◎ Irregular Material Pattern 113

① Hagios (Hard) Area Recon Mission ‘Forward Base: Vulgus Strategic Outposts’ Additional reward for successful infiltration (Drop rate: 5-25%)

② Void Fragment Farming

③ Activate Void Fusion Reactor → Use Reconstruction Device → Obtain Ultimate Bunny Enhanced Cells Blueprint (Drop rate: 10%) → Repeat if not obtained

◎ Irregular Material Pattern 099

① White-Night Gulch (Hard) Area Recon Mission ‘Mountain Ridge: Vulgus Strategic Outposts’ Additional reward for successful infiltration (Drop rate: 5-25%)

② Void Fragment Farming

③ Activate Void Fusion Reactor → Use Reconstruction Device → Obtain Ultimate Bunny Shape Stabilizers Blueprint (Drop rate: 10%) → Repeat if not obtained

◎ Irregular Material Pattern 123

① Fortress (Hard) Area Recon Mission ‘Defense Line: Vulgus Strategic Outposts’ Additional reward for successful infiltration (Drop rate: 5-25%)

② Void Fragment Farming

③ Activate Void Fusion Reactor → Use Reconstruction Device → Obtain Ultimate Bunny Spiral Catalyst Blueprint (Drop rate: 10%) → Repeat if not obtained

◎ Irregular Material Pattern 082

① Echo Swamp (Hard) Area Recon Mission ‘Abandoned Hideout: Vulgus Strategic Outposts’ Reward for successful completion (Drop rate: 25%)

② Void Fragment Farming

③ Activate Void Fusion Reactor → Use Reconstruction Device → Obtain Ultimate Bunny Code (Drop rate: 6%) → Repeat if not obtained

■ Other Material Acquisition Locations

※ Important Notes:

: Pure Energy Residue can only be obtained through Encrypted Vaults.

: A Precision Code Breaker (Precision Code Analyzer) is needed to decrypt Encrypted Vaults.

: The difficulty of decrypting Encrypted Vaults is quite high, so it is recommended to level up Enzo before farming Pure Energy Residue.

: Enzo has a 120% increase in time limit, 150% reduction in speed penalty, 3 attempts reduction, 15-degree relaxation in angle, and 50% time penalty reduction for failed attempts when decrypting Encrypted Vaults.

– Pure Energy Residue farming is challenging, so it is better to level up Enzo first.
