Yellow Balloon Tour and Union Pictures announced on the 17th that they have signed a business agreement to jointly plan and develop the ‘K-POP Seoul City Bus’ product themed around K-POP and K-Culture.

Union Pictures is a performance and entertainment production company with local subsidiaries in Korea and the United States. It is actively engaged in planning performances for various artists, including popular singers ‘Ivy’ and ‘Jung Yong-hwa,’ as well as ‘One Million,’ who gained attention on the popular variety show ‘Street Woman Fighter,’ and ‘Dawon’ of the idol group ‘SF9.’ Additionally, they seek opportunities to introduce lesser-known Hallyu cultural content abroad and distribute global cultural content domestically, contributing to cultural exchanges between countries.

The new ‘K-POP Seoul City Bus’ product will be planned based on the expertise of both companies and will feature unique courses including visits to major tourist attractions in Seoul, K-POP-related landmarks, and private studio facilities. This bus tour is especially anticipated to provide foreign tourists with a unique travel experience through exclusive content, such as opportunities to ride the bus with K-POP stars and watch impromptu performances.

Union Pictures expressed their interest in creating impressive tourism products for Korea while producing K-Culture content, hoping that the synergy between Yellow Balloon Tour’s travel service experience and Union Pictures’ diverse performance planning capabilities will elevate it to become a representative cultural tourism product of the country.

Yellow Balloon Tour added that the currently planned ‘K-POP Seoul City Bus’ goes beyond a simple tourism product and aims to be recognized as a new cultural concept of ‘K-Trip’ that blends travel and K-Culture, not only in Korea but globally. They also mentioned their intention to continue enhancing Hallyu tourism products through ongoing cooperation between the two companies.

The ‘K-POP Seoul City Bus’ is scheduled to operate as a pilot service until the first half of 2025, after which it will transition into a regular tourism product. It will be available for reservation through the Yellow Balloon Tour website and global ticket sales channels for the convenience of foreign tourists.
