Jeju Samdasoo Experiences 5-Fold Increase in New Customers Thanks to Lim Young-woong Effect

Jeju Samdasoo announced on the 19th that the number of members and orders on its official app, ‘Jeju Samdasoo Home Delivery,’ has significantly increased.

Since singer Lim Young-woong was appointed as the brand model last March, the number of new customers has increased approximately fivefold in two weeks, with women in their 50s accounting for the largest proportion. During the same period, the number of orders also increased by 108.5%, and the average daily orders from new members surged about tenfold compared to normal times.

The ‘Jeju Samdasoo Home Delivery App’ is an official mobile application launched in 2019 to enhance consumer delivery convenience. It has received positive responses from many customers due to its features such as subscription service, easy ordering methods, various benefits, and direct delivery through professional agents. The app has continued to grow annually, surpassing 369,000 members and accumulating 2.17 million orders as of May this year.

Kwangdong Pharmaceutical, the distributor of Jeju Samdasoo, stated that they offer various features such as gifting and subscription through the dedicated Samdasoo app to make it easier and more convenient for more consumers to access Jeju Samdasoo. They also emphasized their commitment to prioritizing customer convenience and continuously enhancing their services.

Meanwhile, Jeju Samdasoo released the ‘Land Protection’ advertisement with Lim Young-woong in March and the ‘Water Quality Management’ advertisement in May, delivering messages emphasizing Jeju Samdasoo’s quality and water excellence. Additionally, Jeju Samdasoo has maintained the number one position in the domestic bottled water market for 26 years since its launch, with a market share of 40.3% as of 2023, thanks to its consistent taste and quality.
