Overview

Kyungsung University Language Education Center is designed to teach Korean language to foreigners. It is a Korean language education institution established by the Office of International Affairs. Kyungsung University has been in Korean since 2003. We have been developing textbooks and educational programs for education. 4 textbooks for reading, DVD titles for Korean conversation education, and homepage for Korean language education. And so on.

And at the end of February 2006, a dormitory with state-of-the-art facilities was completed. We have an international language lab. In 2006, after establishing a Korean language education environment in March, “Kyungsung University International Affair Dept. Language Education Center” was officially opened.

Until 2012, China, Taiwan, USA, UK, Japan, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Mongolia, Students from various countries, including Russia, have been admitted and completed. The Language Education Center is divided into four semesters: spring, summer, fall, and winter, and 20 hours per week per semester. A total of 200 hours, a total of 800 hours per year.

Also, in addition to mechanically acquiring language, language can be learned through traditional Korean culture experience. I think that it can come closer, so during the curriculum, we have traditional weddings, Korean cuisine making, Samulnori, Taekwondo, sports competitions, making traditional Korean ceramics, exploring Korean cultural relics, etc. An experiential learning process has been added. In addition, a total of 3 months with a Korean international exchange assistant proactively learning Korean more effectively by providing 1:1 meetings for 30 hours.

Regular Course

The regular program designed by Kyungsung University Language Education Center focuses on improving Korean (TOPIK) scores as well as teaching vocabulary, grammar, listening, writing, reading, and speaking. There are six levels of classes, ranging from Level 1 to Level 6, and all instructors at the Language Education Center put significant effort into enhancing language learning. Of course, all staff at the Language Education Center also support students by effectively organizing the most suitable classes based on the results of their level test scores.
