Global sports brand Mizuno has released the updated version of its signature running shoe, the Wave Rider, with the launch of the Wave Rider 28 (WAVE RIDER 28).
The Wave Rider 28 has been updated to incorporate Mizuno’s unique running technology, ensuring runners can enjoy the smoothest and most comfortable running experience. The comfort that the Wave Rider series has pursued from the beginning has been further upgraded in the 28th version, promoting natural and smooth movements from heel to toe.
The Wave Rider 28 features Mizuno Enerzy nxt, Mizuno’s signature cushioning material, applied to the heel area, offering 20% improved cushioning and 15% enhanced energy output compared to its predecessor, the Wave Rider 27. Additionally, the outsole, designed to extend from the midfoot to the forefoot, facilitates smooth power transitions.
The upper part of the shoe is made from Jacquard Air Mesh, which is soft and highly breathable, providing both elasticity and hold. The central Wave Plate incorporates a honeycomb structure to offer stability, while its design, matching the arch shape of the foot, enhances the natural fit.
The Wave Rider 28 also embraces eco-friendly materials, with over 90% of the Wave Plate composed of recycled materials.
The Wave Rider 28, released on July 3rd, is available at Mizuno’s offline and online stores nationwide.
